About
Boutique software engineering for law firms.
We build custom software and AI systems for law firms.
What we do
Dyvaris is a boutique software engineering and consulting firm working exclusively with US law firms. We design and build custom software and AI systems around the way a firm actually works — the internal tools, integrations, and automations you can’t buy off the shelf.
Most firms are left choosing between generic SaaS that forces the practice to bend around it and offshore development shops that can write code but don’t understand the environment it runs in. Dyvaris fills that gap. Our team brings years of experience in large-firm law practice and software engineering at leading tech companies, so confidentiality, privilege, and work product are starting assumptions — not things you have to explain.
Founder
Dyvaris was founded by Ben Dye, a lawyer and software engineer whose career spans both major law firms and Big Tech.
Ben began his career practicing corporate law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. He later moved into software engineering, including data-platform work at Lyft, where he built and operated production systems in a large-scale technology environment and product work at two startups.
That combination shapes how Dyvaris works. Law firms should not have to explain to their software partner why privilege matters, why sensitive information needs carefully designed access controls, or why a technically functional system can still be unacceptable if it does not fit the firm’s actual workflow. At the same time, legal fluency is not a substitute for strong engineering.
Every Dyvaris engagement is founder-led.

A workflow that has outgrown its tools, an operational bottleneck, or a system your firm depends on but no longer trusts. If it’s a fit, we’ll take it from there.
